Dear God,
We come before you today with grateful hearts, recognizing the beauty and diversity that you have created in this world. We thank you for the lessons and insights we have gained through these past three episodes on diversity, and for the opportunities to grow and learn together as a community.
We ask for your continued guidance and strength as we strive to be champions for diversity and inclusion, both within and outside of our faith. Help us to recognize our biases and prejudices, and to challenge them with love and understanding.
We pray for the courage to be allies and advocates for marginalized groups, and to actively work towards creating inclusive communities that reflect the diversity of your creation. Help us to listen to the voices of those who have been silenced, and to use our privilege and platform to amplify their voices.
We also ask for your grace and wisdom as we strive to create inclusive communities within our faith. May our churches and communities be places where everyone feels welcomed, loved, and valued, regardless of their background or identity.
We thank you for the gift of diversity, and for the ways in which it enriches our lives and broadens our perspectives. May we always celebrate and honor the uniqueness of each individual, and work towards a world where diversity is not only tolerated but celebrated.
