My friends, there is a pressing need for passionate and dedicated shepherds who will tend to the flock of God's people. The League of Rural Churches (LRC) stands at the forefront of this noble calling. We are committed to providing a coherent and affordable path to ministry, ensuring that aspiring pastors are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and deep understanding of God's Word.
The scripture that resonates deeply within me is found in Jeremiah 3:15. The Lord says, "And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding." It is a divine promise, my friends, that God will raise up faithful shepherds to guide His people. We must answer this call, coming together as a community to support and nurture these future pastors.
Imagine a world where every rural community has a pastor who walks in the footsteps of Christ, embodying His love, compassion, and wisdom. Through the League of Rural Churches, we can make this vision a reality. We are committed to providing the resources, mentorship, and educational opportunities necessary to develop servant leaders who will faithfully shepherd their congregations.
But we cannot achieve this mission alone. We need your support, your prayers, and your active involvement. Each and every one of you has a role to play in equipping future pastors for rural communities. Whether you are a member of a rural or small town congregation, a church board member, or a supporter of God's work, your contribution is invaluable.
