A Word from the Vine No. 178: God's Inclusive Love - Embracing All Nations

Dear friends, grace and peace to you from God the Father and from His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. My name is Pastor Loren Christensen of Danish Countryside Chapel, and welcome back to "A Word from the Vine."

Let us turn our hearts to the sacred words of the Scriptures today, guided by the Spirit, as we explore the theme of God's inclusive love. In Isaiah 56:6-8, the Lord speaks of a remarkable truth: "And the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord, to minister to Him, to love the name of the Lord, and to be His servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath and does not profane it, and holds fast My covenant—these I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples."

In these verses, we witness the heart of God's intention. His love is not confined by borders or ethnicity; it extends to all nations, inviting every soul into His family. The psalmist echoes this sentiment in Psalm 67:2-4, "That Your way may be known on earth, Your saving power among all nations. Let the peoples praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You! Let the nations be glad and sing for joy."

The message is clear—God's love knows no bounds. It calls us to unity, inclusion, and sharing His blessings with all. Just as Jesus instructed His disciples in the Great Commission, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19-20).

As followers of Christ, we are entrusted with the privilege and responsibility to spread the message of God's love to people of every background. Our unity in Christ transcends cultural differences, and it's our duty to reach out, to connect, and to share the transformative power of the Gospel.

Dear friends, let us embrace the calling to be messengers of God's inclusive love. Just as the foreigner in Isaiah found acceptance and joy in God's house, let us invite all nations to partake in the blessings of the Kingdom. May our lives reflect this divine love that unites us and brings glory to our Heavenly Father.

Let us pray.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your boundless love that extends to all nations. Teach us to embrace unity and inclusion, to share Your message with every heart, and to be vessels of Your love in this world. Guide us as we fulfill the Great Commission, making disciples of all nations, and may Your name be praised among every people. In the name of Jesus, our Savior, we pray. Amen.

May the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. Amen.
