A Word from the Vine No. 22: Shaping for Growth

Welcome to "A Word from the Vine". As we continue our journey through the vineyard, we now turn our attention to shaping the vines for growth.

In 2 Corinthians 3:18, we read: "And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit."

Just as we shape and train the vines to grow in a certain way, God also shapes and transforms us to become more like Him. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are continually growing and maturing in our faith.

As we reflect on this truth, let us consider the ways in which God is shaping us for growth. Are there areas in our lives where we need to surrender to His pruning and shaping? Are we allowing His Spirit to work in us to produce good fruit?

Let us also remember that just as the vine needs the support of the trellis to grow, we need the support and encouragement of our fellow believers to help us grow and mature in our faith.

As we continue to work in the vineyard, let us remain mindful of God's shaping and transforming work in our lives. May we submit ourselves to His guidance and allow Him to produce in us a fruitful harvest.

Thank you for joining us for this episode of "A Word from the Vine". I'm Pastor Loren. Join us next time as we continue to explore the spiritual lessons we can learn from the vineyard.
