A Word from the Vine No. 253: Embracing Brokenness and Repentence

Greetings, friends. Pastor Loren here, concluding our series, "God Loves You and So Do I." In this final episode of our short series on "A Word from the Vine," we delve into a profound truth – the beauty of brokenness and the necessity of repentance.

Turning to Psalm 34:18: "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."

Christianity embraces brokenness. It's not about presenting a flawless exterior but about acknowledging our brokenness before God. When we recognize our need for Him, we find solace in His presence.

Christ seeks those willing to repent, not those pretending perfection. Repentance is not a sign of weakness but a powerful acknowledgment of our reliance on God. It's through repentance that we open ourselves to the transformative love of Christ.

As we conclude, remember that God loves you in your brokenness, and I stand here, echoing that love. Let's break free from judgment, embrace those hidden Christians among us, and find strength in repentance. May you experience the profound love of God and share it with those around you.

Thank you for joining me on this journey. Until next time, may God's love guide your path.
