A Word from the Vine No. 27: Finding Peace in God's Presence

Welcome to "A Word from the Vine." Today's episode is titled "Finding Peace in God's Presence." The Psalm we will be focusing on is Psalm 46:10, which reads, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

In our busy and chaotic lives, it's easy to become overwhelmed and anxious. But this verse reminds us that in the stillness of God's presence, we can find peace and rest. We don't have to strive and struggle to find peace; instead, we can simply be still and allow God to work in our lives.

So how do we cultivate this stillness and connect with God's presence? One way is through prayer. When we take the time to talk to God, we can quiet our minds and focus on His presence. Another way is through meditation. By setting aside time to be still and focus on God's love and goodness, we can find peace and rest in His presence.

Lastly, spending time in nature can also help us connect with God's presence. When we observe the beauty of the world around us, we are reminded of God's power and creativity, and we can find peace and rest in His presence.

In conclusion, Psalm 46:10 reminds us to be still and know that God is with us. By cultivating a deeper connection with God through prayer, meditation, and spending time in nature, we can find peace and rest in His presence, even in the midst of chaos and uncertainty. Thank you for listening to "A Word from the Vine." I'm Pastor Loren Christensen.
