Hello, dear friends. I'm Pastor Loren Christensen, here with another episode of "A Word from the Vine." Our journey through the Christian weapons encapsulated in the acronym F.A.I.T.H. continues. Today, we delve into the third component: Inspiration.
Our scriptural foundation comes from 2 Timothy 3:16-17: "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."
Inspiration is a powerful force that ignites the soul, and the Word of God is our wellspring of inspiration. The Bible, as God's inspired Word, breathes life into our beings. It teaches, reproves, corrects, and trains us in righteousness, equipping us for every good work.
Consider the lives of ordinary individuals who, inspired by the Word, accomplished extraordinary feats. The story of David facing Goliath, inspired by his unwavering trust in God's promises, is a testament to the transformative power of inspiration. In our own lives, we may find inspiration in the lives of biblical heroes and draw strength from their examples.
In a world where success is often defined by worldly standards, our inspiration from God's Word sets us on a different trajectory. It fuels our passion for righteousness and equips us to fulfill the good works prepared for us.
