Our journey begins with the foundation of faith. The scripture that encapsulates this is John 3:14-15: "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life." Faith is not passive but an active force, propelling us toward the victory won on the cross. It's exemplified in the unwavering trust of individuals like Corrie ten Boom, who, in the midst of darkness, clung to the promises of God.
A: Adoration Inspires Triumphant Hope
Moving forward, we encounter adoration, closely tied to faith. In John 3:16-17, we're reminded of God's profound love for the world. Adoration redirects our focus from the temporal allure of worldly success to the enduring significance of God's love. The life of William Wilberforce serves as an example, where his adoration for God fueled his fight against prevailing injustices.
I: Inspiration Propels Perseverance
Inspiration becomes the catalyst for perseverance. Romans 15:4 guides us: "For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope." The stories of biblical heroes and faithful individuals inspire us to persevere in our own journeys.
T: Triumph Overcomes the World
Triumph is the natural outcome of a life rooted in faith, adoration, and inspiration. In 1 John 5:4-5, we read, "For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith." Triumph is not measured by worldly standards but by our ability to overcome through faith in Christ.
H: Hope, the Culmination of F.A.I.T.H.
Finally, hope emerges as the culmination of our journey. Romans 15:13 beautifully captures this essence: "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." Hope becomes our guiding light, a confident expectation in the promises of God, just as seen in the life of Job.
